Project type: Hospitality Interior Design

MidcenturyReFind was appointed in March 2026 to provide concept design, interior design, finishes, furniture and lighting specifications for the new Burger & Beyond restaurant in Brighton.
For Burger & Beyond’s first restaurant outside of London a light touch refurbishment was required to suit the limited budget and two-week fit out period to ensure the restaurant opened in time for the key summer trading period.
Elements of the existing fit out were retained such as the bar and kitchen counter along with the floors and ceiling but redecoration was required along with new screening and joinery elements which elevate the interior to suit the Burger & Beyond dining offer.
Classic globe pendant and wall lighting and a mixture of Mid-Century and vintage style furniture further add to the elevated feel of the space whilst maximising the internal covers of the relatively compact dining areas. Leather, walnut and teak finishes add warmth to the spaces. A large antique mirror panel has been installed to visually increase the size of the main dining space further.
The shopfront was also redecorated and new lighting added to create a stronger street presence with new signwriting and awning fabric.
